Wisconsin Women are a key aspect of the agriculture industry and are responsible for many facets of the farm. This program is geared toward women (but open to everyone) and the many hats they wear in the agricultural industry. Topics for the day center around managing stress in crops, livestock, and most importantly ourselves.

*Mental Wellness Conversations by Joy Kirkpatrick, Farm Succession Planning Statewide Outreach Specialist, UW-Extension
*Heat Stress in Cattle by Jackie McCarville, UW-Extension Regional Dairy Educator-Grant, Green, Iowa, and Lafayette Counties
*Healthy Soils, Healthy Crops by Jordyn Sattler, UW Extension Regional Crops and Soils Educator- Grant Green, Iowa, and Lafayette Counties
*Meal Prep Activity lead by Katie Maier
*Massage Tips and Tricks by Mickey Siedenburg
The event will be hosted on March 19th at the Congregational United Church, 300 Maiden St. Mineral Point. RSVP by March 13th at https://go.wisc.edu/16e22z or by calling the Extension Green County office at 608-328-9440. The cost of the program is $25 to help fund materials, lunch, and supplies. RSVP and registration fee is required a week before the program date.
