Griffin Noll and Luke Leonard had the Pecatonica boys basketball team right where they wanted o be with a couple ticks remaining on the clock.
The Vikings were leading 59-56 and only a last second three pointe would spoil that.
And that is what happened.
Visiting Rio tied the game and then went on to outscore the hosts 8-7 in overtime to end the season for the Vikings.
Until the three that changed the game Noll had put in 30 points and Leonard 13. The duo had all but five of the 26 points in the third quarter.
Noll went back to work in the OT and tallied four points with Martin Anderson accounting for the other three.
Noll, a junior who joined the 1000 point club earlier this season, led the Vikings with 34.
Rio was the 13th seed with Pecatonica seeded four. Jaxon Tuchalski led them with 21 with Jack Becker getting 18 and Miles Hall 14.
Rio plays #5 Johnson Creek Friday.
