Lafayette Hospital + Clinics (LHC) is pleased to welcome Michelle Hauser, PA-C, back to the community. Michelle will serve LHC in a dual role as Chief Operating Officer and Urology/Menopause Health Physician Assistant.
Michelle brings decades of comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, along with a deep commitment to rural healthcare and community well-being. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to improving access to high-quality care in rural settings.
In addition to her clinical work, Michelle has served as a Community Education Coordinator and as an Associate Faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this role, she helped develop a rural health curriculum for the Physician Assistant program, supporting and mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers with a focus on rural medicine.
“Michelle is one of those rare individuals who leaves a lasting impression,” said Marie Wamsley, CEO. Our patients deeply respect her for the compassion and dignity she brings to every interaction, and I’m genuinely excited to work with her in a leadership capacity for years to come,”
A Southwest Wisconsin native, Michelle is proud to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the same region that shaped her both personally and professionally.
“Caring for patients in a rural community is both a responsibility and a privilege,” said Michelle Hauser. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to transition to a leadership role and still serve the community that has always felt like home.”
Michelle and her husband, Scott, have called the Argyle/Darlington home since 1980. They have three children, Hannah, Cashton and Hunter (married to Mariah).
Welcome home, Michelle!
